I'm Anjona from Tezpur, Assam. I would like to share my experience with RCET, Nagercoil

I was born and brought up in a small town in Tezpur, Assam. From there i reached Rohini college of engineering, the best engineering college in  Nagercoil in the pursuit of a good engineering college. Rohini college of engineering, at first seem to be a normal college in my eyes, but later it turned out to be the best engineering college in Nagercoil. 

Infrastructure structure of our college is good and has dedicated faculty members to give good teaching. They conduct sports meet, cultural fest and art fest in every year, they also give good opportunities for extracurricular activities. Course structure is simple to study and we have labs practical and theory classes so we can easily study our syllabus with help of our teachers and we have three series tests in one semester. My course is 4 years. In 4 years, there is 8 semesters. in all semesters have 6 subjects to study and 2 labs. The faculties including lab staffs are very helpful. They give extra care to each and every student to help them excel. Rohini college of engineering and technology, the best engineering college in  Nagercoil provides internships. in all semesters. They conduct internship programs in several times and the placement and job opportunities are very high. The college is collaborating with several companies so we get many placement opportunities in our college.

Tech fest is conducted in our college every year. The management conduct tech fest in such a way that all departments participate separately, so they conduct several programs based on their departments. Art fest is also conducted in our college. They conduct the art fest every year. it is competition between the departments and there are several art items and cultural contests are conducted. 

Rohini college of engineering and technology, the best engineering college in  Nagercoil also conducts Sports meet. In sports meet, sports competition between the departments in several sports like volleyball, football, handball, cricket, badminton etc. In my opinion fee structure is not very expensive. While compared to other colleges in the state it is feasible. The college provides grants and other financial aids to those struggles to pay their fees.

 

There are several scholarships in our college. Our college also provide scholarships for students based on the higher secondary mark. Where there are some other scholarships are there like memo etc. In our college they conduct sports meet every year in college days and conduct the all finals in two days and they conduct also athletes meet in our college, in our college and have NSS unit they provide social engineering and social services and ideal unit also to improve the student’s ability. Lab are there in our college they also provide practical knowledge. 

Rohini college of engineering and technology, the best engineering college in Nagercoil, help to get jobs to the pass out students. The management also mingles us in our social relevant issues based on like needs for money. They also conduct alumni meet ups in our college. some of the senior students got placed some good jobs so they also recommend the juniors to their company to get a job. I love computers. And software field so I choose the computer science engineering. i have opted this course because this is a professional degree so I can easily get a job after my completion of my course. Faculty are good at our college. In my opinion they teach very well and they help to improve myself and they provide notes of every subject and they behave like friends so they can easily control the whole class.
